PUWER Assessment / Survey
(Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998)
The PUWER 98 Regulations were established by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) in 1998 to ensure that organizations with a duty of care maintain their plant and equipment to safe operational standards.
This includes systematic maintenance and comprehensive risk assessments, aiming to significantly reduce risks to operators and other personnel within the workplace, and where feasible, eliminate these risks entirely.
Interaxis conducts both PUWER and LOLER (Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations) assessments across a broad spectrum of machinery and equipment. We collaborate with major blue-chip companies across the UK.
Our team of highly qualified PUWER 98 assessors performs detailed on-site inspections of each piece of equipment. They engage with operators and supervisory staff to fully understand every aspect of operation, setup, and loading/unloading procedures, thereby ensuring accurate and comprehensive assessment reports.
More information on PUWER regulations can be found here.
